We and our partners at the University of Florida's Scientist in Every Florida School initiative are thrilled to be returning for yet another engaging semester of live Ocean Expert Exchange webinars!
There will be three events in the spring lineup, featuring topics ranging from billfish conservation to Florida's giant manta ray population. Details and supporting resources for the spring events, as well as recordings and educational resources from prior Ocean Expert Exchanges, can be found on our OEE program page.
WE'RE RAY-DIATING EXCITEMENT FOR THIS 3D MODEL!
You may remember the great hammerhead shark 3D model released in 2020... Well, we can't wait to introduce you to the next true to life model created from an ANGARI research expedition!
We've teamed up with Digital Life and Marine Megafauna Foundation scientists to create a 3D model of a giant manta ray with imagery captured off the Florida coast. Read more here and stay tuned for the model release later this semester.

SPLASH BACK TO FALL 2021 💦
We had a busy fall semester full of both virtual and in-person programming! In addition to our live online engagements with partners at OctoNation and the Scientist in Every Florida School initiative, we were excited to return to the classroom to talk about ocean currents, ocean technology and marine debris with the students of Palm Beach Day Academy.
We were even able to get back out in the community exhibiting at LagoonFest and re-commencing our Lagoon Drift citizen science program investigating marine debris with many of our partners and friends from across Palm Beach County.
