SPLASH BACK TO FALL 2023
What an epic fall of at-sea and onshore educational programming! We headed into schools and out on the water with six awesome sets of Palm Beach County students and teachers for Coastal Ocean Explorers: Sharks. Thank you to the Great Charity Challenge and Society for Science STEM Action Grant program for making these once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunities possible!
Back on shore, we shared marine science with diverse audiences, including engaging Palm Beach Day Academy, School District of Palm Beach County teachers at the Sustainability Symposium and others in our Lagoon Drift citizen science project. We even had the chance to connect with diverse audiences across our region at LagoonFest in West Palm Beach and the Indian River Lagoon (IRL) Science Festival!
