We're thrilled to announce the release of our latest 360 film Generation Ocean: Sharks. This short film tags along with Florida Atlantic University shark scientist Dr. Stephen Kajiura and his team from the Elasmobranch Lab as they study the remarkable annual migration of thousands of blacktip sharks along the Florida coast. Viewable with or without a virtual reality headset, the 360 film immerses viewers in a research expedition as the scientists take to both the sea and sky to study the migration and predator-prey relationships between blacktip and great hammerhead sharks. The film makes a fin-tastic virtual fieldtrip and supporting educational content, activities and lessons will be shared via our Educator Resources Portal in the coming months so stay tuned!

We hoped this update would be different, but owing to continued concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic and our desire to protect our staff, partners and the public, we've made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel our spring Lagoon Drift citizen science experiment.
