January 26, 2023 Visit Website       JOIN US FOR A LIVE ONLINE EVENT THIS SPRING We and our partners at University of Florida Scientist in Every Florida School are looking forward to another exciting semester of live webinars with marine science experts.   We get underway on March 1st at 10 AM ET with Candace Fields of Florida International University who will be sharing her research on oceanic whitetip sharks - we hope to see you there! We're excited to have been selected for the 14th annual Great Charity Challenge sponsored by Fidelity Investments and in partnership with the United Way of Palm Beach County. We look forward to cheering on our team of riders at the main event on February 4th!   Those in our area are welcome to join us and other area non-profits for an exciting night of philanthropy and show jumping at Wellington International. The event is free to attend, but will also be livestreamed for those unable to join in person. For more details, visit the GCC event page.       COE: SHARKS EXPEDITION OPPORTUNITIES OPEN Want to join us and Florida International University shark scientists for an exciting day of science-at-sea onboard R/V ANGARI? Want to share an authentic fieldwork experience with your students while supporting shark research and conservation?   If your answer is yes, you're in luck! We are now accepting applications for Coastal Ocean Explorers: Sharks expeditions during the 2023-2024 school year! All expeditions are full-day and depart from Palm Beach County, FL. More Info       SPLASH BACK TO FALL 2022 We had an epic semester of in-person educational programming! From engaging schools and community groups in our Lagoon Drift citizen science study to Coastal Ocean Explorers: Sharks expeditions with Palm Beach and Broward County youth, we were privileged to work with some truly outstanding students and teachers last fall.       DEEP DIVE CREATURE FEATURES NOW ON ANGARI.ORG Did you know that each month we spotlight a different marine species as part of our #ANGARIDeepDive series on social media? You can tune into our channels to learn about fun facts, related research, citizen science efforts and more tied to each species.   We are pleased to announce that the Deep Dive content is now available via our website for you to explore and share with your students. Check out the Deep Dive page to learn more, and let us know if you have an idea for a future feature.       JOIN OUR TEAM!  We are looking to fill paid and volunteer positions at ANGARI Foundation!   We seek a full-time Program Coordinator who will manage and oversee impactful education and outreach programs. We also are accepting applications from college students and recent graduates for both in-person and remote internships.
